FleetCustody

Effective August 23, 2026

Terms for practical, authorized fleet use.

These terms govern business use of FleetCustody. A signed order form or service agreement controls if it conflicts with this public summary.

Authorized business use

FleetCustody is provided to organizations and their authorized administrators, employees, contractors, and drivers. Users must follow their organization's policies and all applicable laws.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for account administration, accurate fleet and location data, employee authorization, workplace notices, devices, connectivity, QR placement, and actions taken through their accounts.

Location and consent

Customers must provide any notices and obtain any permissions required for phone location collection. The current product records a one-time GPS stamp during a submitted checkout or return; it does not provide continuous or background tracking.

QR handling

Vehicle QR codes identify unique vehicle workflows and should remain with the assigned vehicle. Customers must report lost, copied, damaged, or misplaced labels so they can be disabled or replaced.

Acceptable use

Users may not bypass access controls, probe or disrupt the service, upload unlawful material, impersonate others, misuse personal information, reverse engineer protected components, or use FleetCustody for unauthorized surveillance.

Third-party services

The service may depend on hosting, database, authentication, mapping, device, camera, and app-distribution providers. Their availability and terms may affect some features.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, secure, improve, replace, or discontinue features. Beta, demo, and preview functions may change and must not be treated as production records.

Disclaimers and liability

FleetCustody supports operational recordkeeping but does not replace driver judgment, vehicle inspections, safety programs, dispatch control, legal records, or emergency services. Warranties, liability limits, and remedies are governed by the applicable service agreement and law.

Suspension, termination, and contact

Access may be suspended for security risk, unlawful use, nonpayment, or material breach. Upon termination, data handling follows the applicable agreement and law. Questions may be sent to hello@fleetcustody.com.
